At Secret Ravine Aesthetics, our mission is to provide our patients with customized treatments and procedures that are safe and effective in a medical setting. We focus on Medical Aesthetics and Laser Therapy. Owned and operated by Dr Jeffrey Wayne, we are located inside his Internal Medicine Practice.
Our staff is highly trained and has extensive knowledge and experience in skin preservation and rejuvenation. We offer complimentary skin consultations to evaluate your areas of concern, and help you understand the process required to achieve your goals
We utilize the latest technology and modalities to provide non-invasive, non-surgical treatments to achieve your aesthetic goals. Our various skin care lines, facial treatments, dermal fillers and laser procedures are effective for addressing aging, sun damaged or problem skin.

Meet Our Clinicians
Jeffrey D. Wayne, MD
Dr. Wayne attended college in Atlanta, Georgia at Emory University, where he completed his pre-medical requirement and a BA in Psychology. He attended medical school at the University of Southern California Medical School, in Los Angeles, and a family practice internship at USC/Los Angeles County Hospital. Dr. Wayne's Internal Medicine Internship and Residency followed at Faulkner Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Wayne worked in the Emergency Department at Faulkner Hospital as an Emergency Room Attending Physician and Clinical Instructor at Tufts University Medical School. He was Involved in direct patient care and teaching medical students and residents from Tufts and Harvard Medical Schools.
Dr. Wayne moved to Carmichael and began his Internal Medicine practice with Sutter Medical Group gaining significant experience over the years in both outpatient and inpatient medical care. He then became the Medical Director of Clinical Research for Sutter Medical Group.
Dr. Wayne left Sutter Medical Group to open a solo private practice where he employed, supervised, and trained several nurse practitioners and physician assistants over the years but continued research as Principle Investigator, eventually forming research company, Clinical Trials Research. Dr. Wayne moved his practice to Roseville where he continued to develop Clinical Trials Research and Secret Ravine Aesthetics.
Dr. Wayne was born in Texas and was raised in New York with 3 younger sisters. He has a 14 year old daughter and enjoys woodworking, golf, reading, exercising regularly and spending time with family.
Cara L. Nooren, RN, MSN, CNS, FNP-C
Cara has always been interested in health and the human body. This interest has guided her lifestyle, educational and career pursuits. Nutrition, being a primary component of overall health, led her to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics at the University of California, Davis. Cara quickly found enjoyment in the clinical aspect of nutrition and wanted to work with patients directly. Nursing was a natural fit between the two, so she continued with her education and obtained Registered Nurse (RN), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degrees at the University of San Francisco. Cara then received her AANP National Certification.
Cara has been working as a nurse practitioner at Jeffrey D. Wayne Internal Medicine Practice, and Clinical Trials Research. The Internal Medicine practice has allowed her to gain a broad knowledge base in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic disease conditions. Cara brings a background in both dietetics and nursing. At Clinical Trials Research, she has been a sub-investigator on numerous pharmaceutical research trials. This has built unique experience in the science of pharmaceuticals and preliminary stages of drug efficacy and approval.
Cara then joined Secret Ravine Aesthetics to help patients transform their outside appearance to align with the way they feel inside. Cara's focus has become one of “wellness” both inside and out.
Cara resides in Sacramento with her husband and son.
